Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite Appears on Geekbench with Exynos 1380 and Android 15

The long-rumored Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite has made its first real-world appearance in the Geekbench database, lending credibility to earlier leaks and raising both eyebrows and questions in the tablet community.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite Spotted on Geekbench: What We Know So Far
Spotted under the model number SM-X406B, the device is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, aligning with what insiders predicted earlier this year.

The Exynos 1380 SoC isn’t a surprise, but its performance is modest, pulling in a single-core score of 782 and a multi-core score of 2,637 on Geekbench 5.5.1. Interestingly, this is a bit lower than what the same chip achieved in devices like the Galaxy A35 and Tab S9 FE. This has already sparked some concerns among enthusiasts who expected the newer model to be at least on par or better.

As per the listing, the Tab S10 Lite will ship with Android 15 out of the box and 6GB of RAM. While this aligns with budget expectations, some users feel Samsung could’ve opted for the newer Exynos 1580 to provide a more future-proof experience.

What’s also drawing attention is Samsung’s increasingly complex tablet lineup. With the S Series, S FE Series, S Lite Series, A Series, and specialized lines like the Tab Active, the market segmentation is becoming more confusing for everyday consumers.

Still, the arrival of the Tab S10 Lite is a sign Samsung isn’t done refining its budget premium segment. And despite the lukewarm benchmark results, the promise of a slim, affordable tablet running the latest Android version will appeal to a broad audience – especially students and casual users.

Expect more details to leak soon, especially now that prototype testing is clearly underway. Whether the Tab S10 Lite can carve out its own identity in Samsung’s crowded lineup remains to be seen.

Hope it’s cheap at least. Students might like it for note taking, if it supports the S Pen

Would’ve been smarter to use Exynos 1580 tbh. 1380 is like sooo 2022

Ironic if this gets Android updates longer than the S9 FE. Wouldn’t be surprised 😒

Tab S6 Lite, Tab S6 Lite (2022), Tab S6 Lite (2024)… now Tab S10 Lite. Samsung needs a whiteboard for their naming

Why release this when A-series tabs already exist?? It’s all turning into alphabet soup 🥣
