Samsung is preparing for a major reveal this July at its upcoming Unpacked event in New York, where it will officially unveil the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7.
But the spotlight might also shine on a more budget-friendly addition: the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE.
According to fresh reports from South Korea, the Flip7 FE could launch at around KRW 1 million, roughly $740, €645, or £545. While international prices often vary, early estimates suggest a US price of $799-a significant markdown from the regular Flip7, making foldables more accessible than ever before.
European and UK pricing remains a bit more speculative. Based on historical trends, the FE model is expected to start around €799 in the EU and £699 in the UK. However, final prices will depend on regional taxes and distribution costs.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE is rumored to come in 128GB and 256GB storage variants. Meanwhile, the flagship Flip7 will offer 256GB and 512GB options, retaining the pricing structure of last year’s model.
As for what the Flip7 FE actually is under the hood, there’s some confusion. Some leaks suggest it could be a rebranded Flip5 powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2400e chip. Others believe it’s a toned-down version of the Flip6. Neither theory has been confirmed, and it wouldn’t be the first time Samsung has thrown a curveball in naming and specs.
Whatever it turns out to be, the Flip7 FE could mark a turning point for foldables by lowering the barrier to entry without sacrificing the signature Samsung flair. Stay tuned for more details at the Unpacked event this July.

799 is still a lot tbh, but better than 1500 💀
