MediaTek is gearing up to launch its latest flagship, the Dimensity 9500, later this year, and it’s set to compete head-to-head with top-tier chips like Apple’s A19 Pro and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon. Built on TSMC’s advanced third-gen 3nm process (N3P), this SoC promises a significant boost in performance.

According to a tipster, the Dimensity 9500’s single-core and multi-core performance numbers have been revealed, showing that it could outpace Apple’s A19 Pro in multi-core tests.

The exact CPU cluster for the Dimensity 9500 wasn’t disclosed, but based on prior reports, we expect it to feature a ‘2 + 6’ configuration, with two high-performance cores clocked at 4.00GHz. MediaTek has also boosted the cache for the 9500, including a 16MB L3 cache and 10MB of SLC cache.
