The highly anticipated movie *Predator: Badlands* has released an exciting new poster ahead of San Diego Comic-Con 2025, offering a first proper look at the new Predator’s armor and mask.

Alongside Dek is Thia, played by Elle Fanning, who adds an intriguing element to the film. As discussed by IGN, Thia’s design bears a striking resemblance to a synth from the *Alien* franchise, and the new poster hints at a significant injury she suffers. Her appearance in the poster shows her in dire straits, with synthetic innards hanging from her torso in a scene reminiscent of the iconic moment in *Aliens* (1986), where Lance Henriksen’s Bishop was torn apart by the Xenomorph queen.
Fans are already buzzing with theories, some suggesting a connection between Fanning’s character and *Aliens*. Trachtenberg has previously mentioned that the relationship between Dek and Thia was inspired by the 2005 video game *Shadow of the Colossus*, where a protagonist is paired with a character who contrasts and complements them. Trachtenberg hinted that Thia would have some physical qualities that would surprise viewers, and this could be tied to the injury shown in the poster.
Interestingly, the film’s trailer has already shown hints of Thia’s injuries, including a scene where she is seen crawling away from what may be a ship crash. Fans are speculating that these elements are setting up an *Aliens vs. Predator 3* crossover, although Trachtenberg remains tight-lipped on these theories.
