Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil its highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7 rival, the Mix Flip 2, in just a few days. With foldable smartphones making waves in the tech world, Xiaomi is ready to introduce its flagship device, and it’s coming soon. On June 26, alongside other exciting products, Xiaomi will unveil the Mix Flip 2. This is a major release, but it’s not the only big news in the foldable phone market-Honor is also set to unveil its Magic V5 on July 2, which aims to be the world’s thinnest foldable.

While the Magic V5 will certainly have the slim profile advantage, Xiaomi’s Mix Flip 2 isn’t far behind in performance.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, it packs a 6.85-inch folding display with a sharp 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. It may not boast the massive battery capacity of the Honor Magic V5 (which is rumored to have a 6,100 mAh battery), but the Mix Flip 2 is set to deliver better longevity than Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7. The Z Fold 7 is expected to feature a 4,400 mAh battery, while Xiaomi’s foldable is rumored to pack a 5,100 mAh battery, supporting 67W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds.

Other notable features include a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), another 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, NFC support, an IR blaster, and an IPX8 rating for water resistance. This device is expected to be a major player in the foldable smartphone market.

In addition to the Mix Flip 2, Xiaomi is set to launch other exciting products, including the Pad 7S Pro tablet, Redmi K80 Ultra smartphone, Xiaomi Open Earphones Pro, Xiaomi Mi Band 10, and Xiaomi Watch S4. However, the Mix Flip 2 is the real showstopper, at least for mobile enthusiasts-though car lovers might argue that the YU7 SUV, Xiaomi’s first electric vehicle, could steal the spotlight.

The Mix Flip 2 will likely debut in China first, followed by a global release, though pricing details are still unknown. Keep an eye on June 26 for all the exciting updates!
