Eternal Strands, the action-packed fantasy adventure game, has just received a significant update with the addition of NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation support. This upgrade, available from today, brings an extra performance boost to players using GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, ensuring smoother gameplay even during intense moments. Since its January 2025 release, the game has already supported several impressive NVIDIA technologies, including DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS Frame Generation, DLAA, and NVIDIA Reflex. Players can also use the NVIDIA app to switch to the latest transformer AI model, enhancing image quality.

But the new Multi Frame Generation feature promises even better results, elevating frame rates for RTX 50 Series owners.

According to Francesco De Meo’s review on Wccftech, Eternal Strands was already performing well out of the gate. He highlighted how the developer managed to minimize stuttering issues often seen in Unreal Engine 5 titles, ensuring a generally smooth experience. On his testing rig, featuring an i7-13700F, RTX 4080, and 32 GB of RAM, the game ran at a stellar 118 FPS at 4K resolution on Epic settings, with DLSS Ultra Quality and Frame Generation enabled. When DLSS and Frame Generation were turned off, the frame rate dropped to 89 FPS, which was still highly playable. De Meo noted that while there were occasional stutters, they were minimal and didn’t detract from the overall experience. Even in high-density enemy areas, like the Upper Dynevron map, the game performed admirably with minimal drops in framerate.

Aside from Eternal Strands, several other popular titles are soon to benefit from DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation. Starting tomorrow, the seasonal update for the free-to-play anime shooter Strinova will bring this cutting-edge technology to its gameplay, alongside Frame Generation and DLSS Super Resolution. Later this week, Monster Energy Supercross 25 will also receive a patch introducing DLSS Super Resolution. Finally, Diablo IV’s upcoming Season 9, launching on July 1, will incorporate native DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation, offering a smoother experience for players. This update, previously only available through the NVIDIA app, adds new content including hidden Horadric Strongrooms, which players can explore to craft powerful spells and face off against a reimagined Astaroth encounter.
