The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE might be the next big thing in foldable phones, but its pricing isn’t as great as some might have hoped. The latest leak from a European retailer reveals what could be the first glimpse of this budget-friendly foldable’s price. 
While these numbers are unofficial, they give us a solid idea of what to expect from this device.
Priced starting at €865 (around $1,000) in Europe, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE certainly isn’t cheap. After taxes, it could go up to €1,050 or $1,200. Meanwhile, in the UK, the base price is listed at £738, with taxes bringing it to £890 (roughly $1,200). But when compared to the standard Galaxy Z Flip 7’s cost of €1,425 or £1,200, the FE model still offers a relatively lower price.
Despite the budget-friendly pricing, the Z Flip 7 FE doesn’t come with mind-blowing specs. For one, it features just 128GB of storage, which feels a bit tight for a foldable phone
. On top of that, it’s powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2400 chipset, which is a step down from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 found in the regular Z Flip 7.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE’s design is reportedly similar to the Z Flip 6, with a 6.7-inch main screen and a 3.4-inch secondary display. It also comes with a dual-camera setup (50MP + 12MP), a 10MP front-facing camera, and a 4,000mAh battery supporting 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.
While it might not be the best foldable on the market, the Z Flip 7 FE could still prove to be a strong contender if priced right. 
A lot depends on whether Samsung can manage to produce enough units to meet demand, though early reports suggest limited availability.
Expect the Z Flip 7 FE to hit the market at a lower price point in the US, potentially starting under $900, with the 256GB model expected to be priced around €1,130 or £950 (with taxes included). Whether it’s enough of a bargain to steal the show this holiday season remains to be seen.

Only 128GB storage? That’s a joke for a foldable phone in 2024. I really hope there’s a better option down the road..
