Designed for next-generation handheld gaming, this card is the perfect complement to the recently launched Nintendo Switch 2. This combination significantly boosts data transfer speeds compared to traditional microSD cards.

The APEX SD7.1 reaches impressive read speeds of up to 800MB/s, which is up to 8x faster than the TEAMGROUP ELITE MicroSDXC A1 V30, which maxes out at 100MB/s, and nearly 3x faster than the T-CREATE EXPERT SDXC V90, which offers up to 300MB/s. These speeds make it ideal for the Nintendo Switch 2 and other devices that support the MicroSD Express slot. Despite its cutting-edge speed, the card is also compatible with older systems like the original Nintendo Switch and Valve’s Steam Deck, ensuring users can upgrade their storage without abandoning their current hardware.

Available in 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1TB capacities, the APEX SD7.1 is designed to store a large number of games-up to 18 games in the 1TB version, assuming an average size of 26.8GB, such as that of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition. The card is also V30-rated for video recording, supporting 4K UHD video capture for those who want to record smooth, high-quality footage on the go.

The APEX SD7.1 isn’t just about performance; it’s built to last. The card is resistant to water, shock, X-rays, static electricity, and extreme temperatures, ensuring it can handle tough environments. With a limited lifetime warranty, users can trust that the card will provide long-term durability. Pricing is not yet available, but we’ll update this article once we have more information from TEAMGROUP.
