Although not officially announced yet, the phone has already had its design and specs leaked, giving us a sneak peek into what to expect. Recently, more images of the device surfaced, showcasing a sleek, premium-looking design that will likely impress fans of Motorola’s mid-range devices.

Motorola’s partnership with Pantone continues, with the Moto G96 available in vibrant colors such as Cattleya Orchid, Dresden Blue, Greener Pastures, and Ashleigh Blue. If you’re looking for something more luxurious, there’s also a vegan faux leather option that promises a high-end feel. When comparing the Moto G96 to its siblings, the Moto G86, Moto G56, and Moto G86 Power, you’ll notice that while they all share a similar design, the Moto G96 stands out with a more refined camera island.

The Moto G96 is packed with a 6.67-inch pOLED display offering a 144 Hz refresh rate, making it perfect for smooth scrolling and gaming. Under the hood, it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32 MP front-facing camera for impressive selfies. Powered by a 5,500mAh battery and running Android 15, the Moto G96 promises to deliver excellent performance and a long-lasting user experience.

While we don’t yet know the exact pricing for the Moto G96, we can expect it to be slightly more expensive than the Moto G86, which was priced around €330 / £300 in Europe. It’s clear that Motorola is aiming to offer a premium experience in a mid-range package, making the Moto G96 an attractive option for those who want more power without breaking the bank.

Hmmm, not sure if the Moto G96 will be worth the extra price over the G86… 🤔
