Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds has been a big hit since its release earlier this year, setting sales records for Capcom. At the Spotlight Showcase 2025, the company revealed the exciting second free title update for the game, which arrives on Monday, June 30, 2025. This update introduces two iconic monsters: the Lagiacrus and Seregios from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, adding new challenges to the game for hunters.

In addition to the new monsters, Capcom also unveiled a roadmap for upcoming updates, with some exciting seasonal content. A special event is scheduled for July 23 to August 6, 2025, offering exclusive rewards. On July 30, 2025, the Arch-tempered Uth Duna will make its appearance, bringing with it a challenging questline and brand-new equipment. This will run until August 20, 2025.
Another highlight for fans is the upcoming Fender collaboration, set to release on August 27, 2025. This collaboration will allow players to “shred” in-between hunts, adding some musical flair to the Monster Hunter experience
. It’s slated to drop just ahead of the highly anticipated third title update, which will arrive in late September 2025.
