This set of four new Telegram missions invites players to help the author Theodore Levin investigate bizarre occurrences like undead plagues, rogue automations, and swamp beasts. Players can access these missions by retrieving Mr. Levin’s letter from any Post Office or their Camp’s Lockbox, or simply by launching Telegram Missions directly from the Player Menu.

The update brings significant rewards too. Telegram Missions, including the new Strange Tales of the West, offer a generous 3X Gold, RDO$, and XP. For Naturalists, there’s also a 3X RDO$ and XP boost on Sample Sales, 3X Role XP and XP for Legendary Animal Sighting Missions, and 2X RDO$ and XP on Wildlife Photography missions.

For the month of July, players can enjoy the following bonuses:

  • 3X Gold, RDO$, and XP on Telegram Missions
  • 3X RDO$ and XP on Naturalist Sample Sales
  • 3X Role XP and XP on Legendary Animal Sighting Missions
  • 2X RDO$ and XP on Wildlife Photography

Additionally, there are some exciting discounts in the store:

  • 10 Gold Bars off the Naturalist Sample Kit
  • 50% off Novice and Promising Naturalist Role Items
  • 40% off Sedative Varmint Cartridge Pamphlet
  • Legendary Animal Pheromone Pamphlet
  • Potent Herbivore and Predator Bait Pamphlets
  • Discounts on Gus’ Store Clothing, Gypsy Cob and War Horses, and Ammo
  • 30% off Pistols and Customizations
  • Hats, Coats, and Gloves

Red Dead Online hasn’t gained the same widespread popularity as GTA Online, which has overshadowed its multiplayer counterpart. Despite the slower pace, which suited the single-player Red Dead Redemption 2 experience, it hasn’t quite captured the same audience online. However, fans of the game are excited to see Rockstar’s recent focus on bringing new content to RDO. This zombie-themed update, which seems to be a nod to the iconic Undead Nightmare expansion for the first Red Dead Redemption game, is sure to breathe some life back into the game.
