RedMagic Astra Gaming Tablet Launches Globally, Starting at €469/$469
The RedMagic Astra Gaming Tablet, previously known as the Tablet 3 Pro, is finally making its global debut. After launching in China last month, this compact powerhouse is now ready to conquer the international market.
The Astra boasts a 9.06-inch LTPO OLED display with stunning 1504x2400px resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR, and a peak brightness of 1600 nits. Its sleek 4.9mm bezels frame a screen that offers an exceptional viewing experience for both gaming and media consumption.
For immersive sound, RedMagic has equipped the tablet with stereo speakers and dual haptic drivers, enhancing both gaming and media enjoyment. Under the hood, the Astra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the top-tier Android chipset, supported by advanced cooling techniques like liquid metal, a large vapor chamber, and an active cooling fan. This system reduces the device’s temperature by 8°C, ensuring smooth performance even during extended gaming sessions.
The tablet packs a substantial 8,200mAh battery, capable of fast charging at 80W. In just 20 minutes, the tablet charges from 0% to 50%. The USB-C port supports USB 3.2 Gen 2, allowing you to connect external displays at up to 8K at 60Hz. Drop the resolution to 4K, and you can enjoy refresh rates up to 144Hz.
The Astra Gaming Tablet comes in two sleek colors, Black and Silver, with various configurations ranging from 12GB RAM and 256GB storage to an impressive 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. The starting price is set at $499/€499/£439, but Early Bird offers from July 10-15 will drop the price to $469/€469/£409. Early buyers will also receive a complimentary pair of RedMagic gaming finger sleeves and the 80W charger, which is not included in the box by default.
This powerful device will be available across North America, Europe, the UK, Asia Pacific, and the Gulf Cooperation countries, with official sales starting on July 16.
