Realme has just confirmed that its GT 7 series will be the first to receive Android 16, followed closely by the GT 6 series. In an official statement, Realme promised to be among the first brands to roll out Android 16 to its flagship devices, and it’s no surprise that the Realme GT 7 series will lead the charge. The Realme GT 7 Pro, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, will be the first to receive Realme UI 7, based on Android 16. Meanwhile, the Realme GT 7 and GT 7T, powered by the Dimensity 9400e and Dimensity 8400 chips respectively, will also get their share of the update soon after. After completing the update process for the GT 7 series, Realme plans to turn its attention to the GT 6 family, with the GT 6 and GT 6T models being next in line. However, Realme hasn’t shared an exact release timeline yet, but has hinted at providing more details in the fall.
