Colorful, a prominent Chinese AIB (Add-in-Board) partner of NVIDIA, has unveiled its latest custom editions of the GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card. With NVIDIA’s release of the RTX 5050, board partners have been quick to launch their own versions, and Colorful is no exception. The company has showcased several models under their well-known iGame, Battle AX, and MEOW-ORG families.
These new editions are tailored to various user needs, offering dual and triple fan cooling configurations for enhanced heat dissipation and performance.
The iGame GeForce RTX 5050 Ultra W OC 8GB-V and Ultra W DUO OC 8GB-V are part of the iGame lineup. The former features a triple-fan design, while the latter has a dual-fan configuration. Despite the difference in cooling, both cards share similar internal specs, including a 4+2 power phase setup and a boost clock of 2647 MHz. However, the Ultra W OC card is notably longer at 314mm, whereas the Ultra W DUO OC is more compact, measuring just 243.5mm in length. Both cards boast the distinctive ‘Hip-Hop’ style with graffiti RGB lighting, making them stand out visually.
For users looking for something with more personality, the COLORFIRE GeForce RTX 5050 MEOW-ORG DUO 8GB edition brings an eye-catching orange and white color scheme with cat-themed accents on the shroud and backplate. This card offers a more modest power phase of 3+2 and a boost clock of 2497 MHz, which is slightly lower than the reference RTX 5050’s 2571 MHz boost clock, making it a good option for those who prefer a more unique aesthetic over top-tier performance.
The Battle AX series from Colorful brings a more robust performance with two models: the RTX 5050 Battle AX 8GB-V and RTX 5050 Battle AX DUO 8GB-V. Both of these cards feature a 3+2 power phase VRM and a boost clock of 2572 MHz. The Battle AX series is distinguished by its sleek black and red design, with high-performance fans on the triple-fan variant and a dual-fan version for those seeking a quieter option.
