AMD is gearing up to release a new entry-level APU, the Ryzen AI 5 330, as part of its Krackan Point 2 lineup. This chip is set to fill the gap in AMD’s Zen 5 mobile processor offerings. 
Although not officially announced yet, the Ryzen AI 5 330 has already been spotted on Geekbench, revealing its specifications and performance benchmarks.
According to the leaked results, this 4-core, 8-thread processor achieves a single-core score of 1949 and a multi-core score of 7047 on Geekbench 6. It operates with a base clock of 2.0 GHz and can boost up to nearly 3.7 GHz. The APU features a unique 1x Zen 5 + 3x Zen 5c core configuration, similar to the Ryzen 3 7440U, which is also designed for power-efficient mobile devices.
The Ryzen AI 5 330 includes integrated Radeon 820M graphics, which are expected to be weaker than the Radeon 840M found in the Ryzen AI 5 340. This indicates that the APU is not intended for intensive graphical workloads but will excel in basic tasks like web browsing, office work, and casual use. Still, the APU is expected to feature RDNA 3.5 architecture, similar to other Krackan Point chips.
Despite the lower performance of its integrated GPU, the Ryzen AI 5 330 will be suitable for lightweight laptops and mini PCs, targeting users who prioritize power efficiency and lower costs. The chip is expected to make its way into budget-friendly devices such as educational laptops and basic office machines.

I could see this in an ASRock Desk Mini X600/USB4 edition, especially with USB4/40Gbs support for eGPUs. But if the iGPU is that weak, I’d just throw in a Radeon 7000X3D instead
