The latest Stellar Blade PC patch (version 1.20) has arrived, and it’s packed with exciting updates and improvements. 
Weighing in at around 4.9 GB, this patch delivers new content, gameplay tweaks, and essential fixes that enhance the experience for both newcomers and long-time fans of the game.
One of the standout features of this update is the unlocking of Hard Mode right from the start. Previously, players had to complete the game once before tackling the challenging mode, but now, you can dive straight into the action without any restrictions. Considering that the normal difficulty didn’t provide much of a challenge for most players, this change is a welcome one for those seeking a tougher experience.
In addition to the Hard Mode unlock, the patch also adds seven new arranged tracks based on existing music, as a token of appreciation to the fans who have supported the game since its release. The new music tracks are sure to enhance the atmosphere and provide a fresh listening experience for players.
The update also addresses several issues, including one that affected the “Where is the Fantastic Bait” quest, as well as another bug in the NIKKE minigame that caused EVE’s gun to disappear. These fixes, along with others, help ensure a smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience.

Stellar Blade debuted on PC last month after a successful PlayStation 5 release the year before. In its first three days, the game sold over 1 million units, solidifying its popularity. Although the developer, Shift Up, hasn’t confirmed plans for other platforms, there’s a strong possibility that the game could make its way to the Nintendo Switch 2, as the developer is exploring that option.
