Xiaomi has just introduced a sleek new Champagne Gold color option for two of its popular smartphones: the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro+ and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro. While I tend to stick with black phones myself (a personal preference for black electronics overall), I have to admit that this new hue looks pretty classy. 
The Champagne Gold variant, which was launched in India, is elegant and stylish, evoking sophistication.
The Champagne Gold models join the existing color options: Spectre Blue, Titan Black, and Phantom Purple for the Pro+ model, and Ivy Green, Titan Black, and dual-tone Phantom Purple for the Pro version. It’s important to note that this color addition doesn’t come with any hardware upgrades or downgrades – it’s purely an aesthetic change.
So, what’s the deal with these phones? The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G is the standout model in Xiaomi’s 2025 lineup, offering a premium experience without the hefty price tag. It features a sleek design, a stunning 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for extra durability. Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, it comes with a solid 256GB of storage, making it great for everyday tasks. While it’s not the best option for intense gaming, it delivers a solid, well-rounded performance.
One of the standout features of the Pro+ is its ultra-fast 120W wired charging, which juices up the 5,000mAh battery to full in just about 25 minutes – something rare at this price range. Plus, it boasts IP68 water and dust resistance, ensuring durability. As for the camera setup, the 200MP main camera takes sharp, detailed shots, though it doesn’t quite match the flagship-level quality. You’ll also find an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens (no telephoto), while the 16MP front-facing camera does a good job for selfies.
