Let’s dive into what these devices bring to the table.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 has received significant improvements, especially in its camera system. The main camera now boasts an ultra-high-resolution 200MP sensor with the 1/1.3” ISOCELL HP2 sensor, making it a powerful tool for capturing detail in any setting. The 10MP 3x telephoto lens offers a solid zoom experience, while the 12MP ultra-wide camera comes with a game-changing autofocus feature, allowing you to take macro shots with ease. Speaking of the selfie camera, Samsung has switched from the under-display camera to a more traditional 10MP punch-hole camera with a 100° wide lens, offering clearer and more reliable selfies. On the cover display, there’s another 10MP camera with a narrower 85° lens.

The Z Fold7’s camera system delivers stellar performance for those who love taking photos and videos. We tried out a variety of shots, from 2x crop zooms to 3x telephoto, and were impressed by the quality across the board. The autofocus works wonders, and the photos taken with the ultra-wide lens are vivid and detailed. Selfies are a breeze too, with the internal camera offering a wider angle for group shots.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7, while sticking to a more familiar formula, brings some notable upgrades to the table. It has a 50MP main camera paired with a 12MP ultra-wide camera, which also doubles as a fantastic selfie camera thanks to the expansive 4.1” cover display. Inside, the 10MP camera features an 85° lens, perfect for personal shots. What’s new, though, is the ability to enable automatic framing and image adjustments, making hands-free selfies a breeze. In fact, the Z Flip7 can function as its own tripod, which adds a lot of convenience for content creators.

Both phones now support 10-bit HDR video, which allows for richer colors and deeper contrast. While 4K video will still be sufficient for most users, these new HDR capabilities open up possibilities for cinematic video experiences. We can’t wait to dive deeper into these features in our upcoming full reviews, so stay tuned for more insights on camera performance.

Here are some quick shots we took with both the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 to showcase their camera capabilities. From zoomed-in telephoto shots to wide-angle landscapes and selfies, these phones have a lot to offer when it comes to photography.
