The Honor X70 is set to officially launch on July 15, and it’s making waves in the smartphone world with its massive 8,300 mAh battery, which is a record for a mainstream device. The impressive battery capacity has already been confirmed by the brand, but ahead of the official release, a prototype has appeared in the Geekbench online results database. This prototype, identified by the model number MTN-AN00, has shown its performance in Geekbench 6.3.0 with a 1,064 single-core score and a 2,998 multi-core score. 
While we can’t fully trust benchmarks from pre-release devices, the numbers still provide a glimpse into the phone’s capabilities.
The Honor X70 is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC, and this particular unit was equipped with 12GB of RAM, running Android 15. Along with the monstrous battery, the X70 will feature a 6.79-inch OLED display with a “1.5K” resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, along with an in-display fingerprint scanner for added convenience. Even with such a huge battery, the device remains impressively slim at under 8mm thick and weighs less than 200g.
The X70’s massive battery supports 80W wired and wireless charging, which means it can charge up quickly, despite the huge power reserve. The combination of powerful internals, a high-quality display, and a battery that blows away many current competitors positions the X70 as a game-changer in the smartphone market.
