The prices for the two ROG Xbox Ally models have leaked online, and they might just surprise you with how reasonable they are. According to Spanish publication 3D Juegos, ASUS itself accidentally revealed the pricing for Europe. The entry-level model is set to cost €599 (around $650), while the higher-end X model is priced at €899 (approximately $975). These figures might seem steep for casual buyers, but they are actually in line with other handheld PCs on the market, and are close to what many expected.

The ROG Xbox Ally handhelds have been rumored for some time and were officially announced last month at the Xbox Game Showcase.

The base model comes with an AMD Ryzen Z2A processor, offering a balance between power and performance to extend battery life. On the other hand, the premium X model features an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme Processor, which promises better frame rates and sharper visuals compared to the base model. One of the big trade-offs here is that neither model will feature an OLED display, a decision likely made to keep the power draw in check and to ensure VRR support. At the moment, there’s no official word on the launch date, though earlier leaks suggested an October release. With prices now revealed, it’s likely that ASUS and Microsoft are preparing for an official announcement soon.
