T-Mobile’s Revvl series has been around for a while now, with the carrier’s own line of handsets hitting the market back in August 2017. After the success of the Revvl 7 and Revvl 7 Pro, the next iterations, the Revvl 8 and Revvl 8 Pro, are now set to launch. According to a recent listing from the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), the Revvl 8 Pro will support 15W wireless charging. This model will also be compatible with Qi version 1.3.3, specifically the Extended Power Profile (EPP) version. However, it won’t support the latest Qi 2 standard, meaning it doesn’t come with magnetic alignment features.

In terms of design, the Revvl 8 Pro features a sleek two-tone look on the back, which is a change from the earlier model.

The quad-camera setup from the Revvl 7 Pro is retained but now features a more streamlined design, with the cameras and flash flush against the rear panel, unlike the previous model where the camera module protruded.

As for the camera specs, expect a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro camera for close-up shots, and another 2MP depth sensor that helps with the “Bokeh” effect, which blurs the background to give images a professional touch. This setup also assists with 3D imaging for AR experiences.

On the display front, the Revvl 8 Pro is likely to keep the 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen seen in last year’s model. Powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, the Revvl 8 Pro should deliver a solid performance, backed by a 5000 mAh battery. Storage-wise, the phone will likely offer 256GB of internal storage, with a microSD slot supporting up to 2TB of expandable storage.

The Revvl 8 Pro is expected to maintain the $249.99 price point of its predecessor, though T-Mobile will likely have a range of promotions when it’s released. A leaked report suggests that the phone could be hitting stores in August, along with a less powerful and cheaper version, the Revvl 8. Both models are likely to ship with Android 15 pre-installed.
