CD Projekt RED is back at it again with another big update for Cyberpunk 2077. This time, they’re preparing to unveil Patch 2.3, which is set to drop tomorrow, Wednesday, July 16, 2025, during one of their signature RED Streams livestreams. The stream will go live at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST / 5pm CEST, and you can catch it on Twitch or YouTube.
The stream will feature Paweł Sasko, the associate game director for the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, along with Adrien Jouannet, lead designer at Virtuos.
While the exact details of the update remain under wraps, CD Projekt RED’s official announcement on X (formerly Twitter) has given us a few clues. The post teases that the update will focus on cars in the game, with the cryptic message: “We’re driving into Patch 2.3 of Cyberpunk 2077 to check what’s under the hood of the newest update.” And to seal the deal, the post includes a tire emoji, so it’s safe to assume vehicles are a major part of this new update.
But that’s not all! It’s a big week for Cyberpunk 2077, as the game is officially making its way to Apple Silicon Macs starting on July 17, 2025. This is the second new platform launch for the game this year, following its debut on the Nintendo Switch 2 at launch. CD Projekt RED’s latest sales report reveals that Cyberpunk 2077 has surpassed 30 million copies sold, and with these new platforms, it’s only a matter of time before that number climbs even higher.
