ASRock has just expanded its popular DeskMini lineup with two compact powerhouses: the DeskMini B860 and DeskMini X600/USB4.
ASRock Unveils DeskMini B860 and X600/USB4 Mini PCs with Next-Gen Intel and AMD CPUs
These ultra-compact mini PCs are built for high performance, thanks to support for the latest Intel and AMD processors, making them ideal for business users, students, digital signage setups, and home entertainment centers.

The DeskMini B860 is based on Intel’s new B860 chipset with an LGA 1851 socket, ready to host up to 65W Intel Core Ultra Series 2 CPUs – including the energy-efficient Core Ultra 200S processors. This ensures strong multitasking capabilities with reduced thermal output.

Meanwhile, the DeskMini X600/USB4 takes advantage of AMD’s AM5 platform and is compatible with Ryzen 7000, 8000, and the latest 9000 series chips, offering users the flexibility to configure performance to their needs.

Both models share the same minimalist 1.92L chassis (155 x 155 x 80 mm), offering a surprisingly capable package in a tiny footprint. Despite their small size, these PCs allow for up to 47mm low-profile coolers and support high-capacity DDR5 memory (up to 128GB) in either 2x DDR5-6400 or DDR5-5600 configurations.

Storage is no issue, either – each DeskMini can house up to two SATA SSDs and two M.2 2280 NVMe drives. Plus, with PCIe Gen 5.0 and Gen 4.0 lanes available, performance bottlenecks are kept to a minimum.

On the connectivity front, the DeskMini B860 leads with two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs, one HDMI 2.1 (4K @120Hz), and a Thunderbolt 4 port for speedy peripherals. The X600/USB4 model is slightly more modest with one DP 1.4, but otherwise matches in USB ports, 2.5G LAN, and optional Wi-Fi via M.2 Key E slot.

Whether you’re looking to build a space-saving workstation or a discreet yet powerful entertainment hub, the new DeskMini models prove that good things come in small packages.
