Fresh details have emerged about vivo’s upcoming flagship, the X300 Pro, and it’s looking like a serious photography powerhouse. According to trusted tipster Digital Chat Station, the X300 Pro will pack a triple-camera setup that includes a 50 MP main sensor (Sony’s Lytia LYT-828, 1/1.3″), a 50 MP ultra-wide lens, and a staggering 200 MP periscope telephoto camera built around a 1/1.4″ sensor. 
The telephoto unit is said to feature a cutting-edge anti-flare coating, which should drastically reduce glare and reflections for clearer zoom shots.
This camera array places the X300 Pro firmly in the ultra-premium tier, taking direct aim at the likes of Samsung’s Ultra series and Xiaomi’s top dogs. vivo is clearly betting big on mobile photography, and this new leak only confirms it.
Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset will be driving the show. This isn’t a shocker, considering the previous model, the X200 Pro, featured the Dimensity 9400. The X300 Pro is expected to continue that tradition with a launch likely around October-or possibly sooner, if MediaTek unveils the 9500 chip in September as rumored.
In short, vivo seems to be refining its flagship strategy with a sharper focus on camera quality and performance. If the leaks hold true, the X300 Pro might just be one of the most exciting camera phones of the year.
