After nearly a year of exclusivity, the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D is no longer limited to just a handful of retailers. AMD’s budget-friendly X3D processor from the Ryzen 7000 lineup has started appearing in various online stores, expanding its availability to more regions.

The Ryzen 5 7600X3D was first released after AMD’s launch of the Ryzen 9000 series CPUs, bringing a slightly slower architecture but offering an impressive 64MB of L3 cache. This made it a fantastic alternative to the faster but pricier Ryzen 9000 series CPUs, especially for gaming.

When the Ryzen 5 7600X3D debuted, it was exclusively available in the US through MicroCenter, and in Germany via Mindfactory. China saw the launch shortly after, but the rest of the world was left out. However, today we learned that AMD has started shipping the processor to more retailers. The UK has become the fourth region to get the Ryzen 5 7600X3D, with the processor now listed on LambdaTek, a major UK retailer for PC hardware.

Though the product page currently lacks an image and the processor is not yet in stock, the listing is priced at £299.57 including VAT (£249 without VAT), which is roughly $400. When the processor was first launched, it was priced at $299 in the US, and similarly priced in China.

The Ryzen 5 7600X3D comes with a traditional 6-core/12-thread configuration, but its clock speeds are lower than its non-X3D counterpart. While the 7600X boasts a 4.7/5.3 GHz base/boost clock, the X3D version has a 4.1/4.7 GHz clock. Despite the lower speeds, the 7600X3D outperforms the regular 7600X in gaming and specific applications, thanks to the extra L3 cache made possible by 3D V-Cache technology. Additionally, it is more power-efficient with a 65W TDP compared to the 105W TDP of the 7600X. AMD appears to be expanding its market for this processor, so it may soon be available through even more retailers.

The Ryzen 5 7600X3D offers excellent performance at a reasonable price, making it a fantastic choice for budget gaming enthusiasts looking for an AM5 CPU. With the 7800X3D priced around $400, the 7600X3D offers a better price-to-performance ratio for those focused on gaming.
