Ubisoft Massive is breathing new life into Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora with a major update dropping December 5 – a date that marks both the game’s third anniversary and a countdown to the next Avatar movie, Fire and Ash. 
This patch is more than just a tweak – it’s practically a reimagining.
The biggest game-changer? A full third-person mode. That’s right – players can finally step out of the protagonist’s eyes and see the lush alien world of Pandora from behind their character. This long-awaited feature opens up a more cinematic and expansive way to explore, fight, and vibe with the wilds of Pandora. Ubisoft didn’t just bolt on a camera – they revamped controls, animations, and even audio to make the third-person experience feel native.
Also arriving with the update is New Game+, perfect for veterans looking to reenter the world with a twist.
