Pixel Watch 4 Leaks Reveal New Colors, Bands, and Internal Upgrades
Freshly leaked renders give us a clearer view of the upcoming Google Pixel Watch 4, showcasing subtle design tweaks, new band colors, and hints of internal improvements. First reported by Android Headlines, these official-looking images suggest Google isn’t straying far from its previous design – but that might not be a bad thing.
The Pixel Watch 4 retains its signature rounded aesthetic with a case that looks nearly identical to last year’s model. What sets it apart this time are the new colors and band options, which bring some welcome variety to the wearable’s look.
Band options spotted in the leak include:
- Active Band: Obsidian, Porcelain, and Moonstone
- Sport Band: Indigo, Iris, and Limoncello
While the renders show only a few variants, it’s expected that both bands will be offered in additional colors at launch. Interestingly, the Active Band might feature a new, more comfortable material, while the Stretch Band could again be exclusive to the smaller watch variant, just like last year.
Despite earlier rumors of slimmer bezels, the new images suggest the display size and bezels remain unchanged. Google seems to be focusing more on the watch’s internals than its outer shell. The device will reportedly use a redesigned side-mounted charger – the third different charger in four generations – and pack a larger, faster-charging battery.

With the Galaxy Watch 8 already launched and Apple’s Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3 expected soon, Google faces tough competition in the smartwatch arena. The Pixel Watch 4 is set to debut alongside the Pixel 10 lineup on August 20.
While it might not win awards for design innovation, the Pixel Watch 4 could still be a fan favorite thanks to practical upgrades that enhance the user experience – the kind of thoughtful evolution Google loyalists will likely appreciate.
