Adobe has officially launched its Firefly app on mobile devices, bringing the powerful generative AI suite to both iOS and Android.
Following the Android debut of Photoshop last month, Adobe continues to make waves in the creative tech world by adding Firefly to mobile, allowing users to tap into AI-driven content creation on the go.
Firefly is a set of creative AI models developed by Adobe that enables users to generate images, videos, and other forms of content simply by entering text prompts or tweaking existing visuals. Now, with the new Firefly mobile app, users can unleash their creativity anywhere, generating and editing content at their fingertips. This mobile version mirrors the desktop app, offering the same functionality, including:
- Generative Fill
- Generative Expand
- Text to Image
- Text to Video
- Image to Video
Moreover, Adobe provides users with the choice to utilize either Firefly’s own commercially safe models or partner models from prominent companies such as Google and OpenAI. Depending on the type of content creation needed, users can select from the following models:
- Image Models: Black Forest Lab’s Flux 1.1 Pro, Flux.1 Kontext, Ideogram’s Ideogram 3.0, Google’s Imagen 3 and Imagen 4, OpenAI’s image generation model, and Runway’s Gen-4
- Video Models: Google’s Veo 2 and Veo 3, Luma AI’s Ray2, and Pika’s text-to-video generator
All work produced on the Firefly mobile app will sync seamlessly with the user’s Creative Cloud account, enabling them to continue their projects on desktop with ease. Whether you’re starting a project on the go or finishing one at your workstation, Firefly offers the ultimate flexibility.
