The AirPods Pro 3 have surfaced in a new leak within iOS 26 code, hinting that Apple’s highly anticipated wireless earbuds could be launching later this year. The discovery was made by MacRumors contributor Steve Moser, who found a reference to the upcoming AirPods Pro 3 in the beta code. 
However, no specific details about the new features were uncovered in the latest leak, leaving room for speculation.
The reference was spotted in a headphone-related user interface framework, suggesting that Apple is preparing for an imminent release. While Moser couldn’t find any further information about the features, he confirmed that the AirPods Pro 3 are indeed coming. Apple’s upcoming earbuds are expected to feature a new design and offer an upgraded Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) compared to the AirPods Pro 2. This improved ANC suggests that the AirPods Pro 3 might be equipped with a custom H3 chip, which could bring additional benefits yet to be revealed.
Although there are no concrete details on the AirPods Pro 3’s features, rumors suggest that these earbuds will offer enhanced noise isolation and a fresh design. The H3 chip could deliver better performance and more advanced features, which we’ll likely learn about when Apple officially announces the product later this year.
