These drivers, part of the ‘SI Driver for Radeon’ release, were spotted by X user MelodicWarrior, confirming a lineup of upcoming desktop processors from AMD.

The Ryzen 5 9600X3D, in particular, is generating a lot of buzz. Positioned as the most accessible 3D V-Cache option in the Ryzen 9000 series, this processor will bring next-gen Zen 5 and AM5 platform performance to a broader audience

. The 9600X3D will feature 6 cores, 12 threads, and 2nd Gen V-Cache technology, providing an impressive 96 MB of L3 cache, which promises significant improvements in gaming performance.

Although its exact TDP and clock speeds aren’t final, it’s expected to be similar to the Ryzen 5 9600X, making it a great option for gamers looking for value without compromising on performance.

Alongside the 9600X3D, the Ryzen 5 9600 is also in the spotlight. This chip, now primarily available through system integrators (SIs), offers 6 cores, 12 threads, and clock speeds up to 5.2 GHz with 32 MB of L3 cache and a TDP of 65W. It’s mainly aimed at OEMs, so finding a boxed version for DIY builds may be tricky, but that could change in the near future.

Finally, the Ryzen 9000 PRO series is also making its debut. Four CPUs have been revealed: the Ryzen 9 PRO 9945, Ryzen 7 PRO 9745, Ryzen 5 PRO 9645, and Ryzen 5 PRO 9400. These chips aren’t yet confirmed to be based on AMD’s “Granite Ridge” architecture, so it’s unclear whether they will feature integrated graphics. Also, it’s worth noting that AMD plans to launch a new APU lineup later this year, though these chips aren’t labeled with the ‘G’ suffix that typically indicates APUs.

As for release dates, the Ryzen 5 9600X3D is expected to hit the DIY market between the end of Q3 and early Q4, although it will first be available through SIs. Additionally, the Ryzen 7 9700F is also set to launch soon, adding to the growing Zen 5 presence on the AM5 platform.
