AMD has officially rolled out full support for its newly launched Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9000 WX series in the latest version of Ryzen Master, the company’s go-to utility for CPU and RAM overclocking.
The update brings game-changing features to creators, engineers, and high-performance users who need maximum control over their hardware.
The Threadripper PRO 9000 WX processors, built on AMD’s powerful Zen 5 architecture, scale from 16 to a massive 96 cores with SMT, and are now fully compatible with Ryzen Master 3.0.0.4199. This means overclocking no longer requires a trip to the BIOS or a system reboot-tuning is now possible in real time, thanks to AMD’s live workspace and on-the-fly capabilities.
The update doesn’t stop at compatibility. AMD has added the Optimized Performance Profile (OPP) for faster and more efficient memory overclocking, support for Per CCD Curve Optimizer, and eliminated the need to restart when switching to PBO Advanced mode. It also introduces a redesigned user interface with a streamlined layout, smart stress testing for CPU and RAM, and flexible tuning options for individual or multiple CCDs-all tailored to fit specific workloads through customizable profiles.
While performance junkies are celebrating, AMD does note that some issues persist. Notably, the Ryzen Master app may start slowly on systems with high core counts-something that’s being actively addressed in upcoming patches.
Whether you’re building on TRX50, WRX90, or AM5 platforms, Ryzen Master now delivers the most seamless way to squeeze every bit of performance from AMD’s latest silicon beasts.
