While ARM was once primarily known for its mobile chipsets, including its popular M-series SoC used by Apple, it has now expanded significantly into the data center space, creating new revenue streams and gaining impressive traction.
The rise of AI has contributed significantly to ARM’s growth, as the company has successfully capitalized on the tech boom. ARM’s chips are now powering a variety of high-profile tech platforms. Companies like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft have adopted ARM-based processors, with Amazon even designing its own Graviton processors for AWS customers.
