ASRock Launches New AMD X870 Motherboards: X870E Taichi OCF and More

ASRock has expanded its range of high-performance AMD X870 and X870E chipset motherboards with five new models, offering enthusiasts more choices for premium features and modern connectivity.

ASRock is a renowned brand for its innovative designs and powerful motherboards, and these latest additions to their lineup continue to build on that reputation.

The flagship model in this release is the X870E Taichi OCF, which takes the top spot in the X870 lineup. As the first OC formula motherboard based on AMD’s platform, it inherits the legendary overclocking capabilities of the Z890 Taichi OCF, which is commonly used by world-record-holding overclockers. For users looking to push their system to the limit, the X870E Taichi OCF offers an impressive 22+2+1 power phase VRM with 110A SPS design, making it an overclocking beast. Its one DIMM per channel design also optimizes memory speeds and timings, setting the stage for record-breaking performance.

Connectivity is another area where the X870E Taichi OCF shines. It features multiple Type-C ports with options like USB4 and WiFi 7, which supports 5GHz and 6GHz internet speeds. Whether you’re into gaming, content creation, or anything in between, this motherboard has the fast, reliable connections you need for the most demanding tasks.

For users seeking a more budget-friendly option, the X870 Taichi Creator offers many of the same premium features as the X870E Taichi OCF, including 10GbE and 5GbE LAN ports and WiFi 7. It does come with a slightly less powerful 18+2+1 power phase VRM, but this is still plenty powerful to push even AMD’s flagship Ryzen 9000 processors to their maximum potential.

The X870 NOVA WiFi and X870 LiveMixer WiFi are also noteworthy, offering powerful VRMs and excellent connectivity options for most PC enthusiasts. Finally, ASRock has also introduced the X870 Pro-A WiFi, which is an excellent choice for budget-conscious gamers and productivity-focused users. Despite its more affordable price, it still includes WiFi 7 and solid VRM support with a 16+2+1 power phase design.

With these new additions, ASRock continues to lead the charge in offering motherboards that combine power, performance, and connectivity for a wide range of users-from hardcore enthusiasts to those on a budget.
