ASUS has unveiled the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDMR, a 32-inch 4K gaming monitor that boasts an impressive 240Hz refresh rate and the latest DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 connectivity. This updated version of the PG32UCDM, which debuted last year, brings significant improvements under the hood, while retaining much of the same design and visual performance that made the original model so popular.
One of the standout upgrades in the PG32UCDMR is the inclusion of DisplayPort 2.1a, offering a massive 80 Gbps bandwidth, compared to the 32.4 Gbps provided by DisplayPort 1.4. 
This improvement enables smoother, uncompressed visuals at higher resolutions and refresh rates, making it ideal for both gamers and creators who demand top-tier performance. The new port allows 4K at 240Hz with HDR and 10-bit color depth, and even supports 8K at 60Hz and dual 4K at 144Hz configurations.
The PG32UCDMR also comes with the AI Assistant Technology, adding features like AI Visual, Dynamic Crosshair, and Dynamic Shadow Boost, which enhance the gaming experience by improving visibility and giving players an edge
. While the monitor’s overall design and color accuracy remain unchanged from the PG32UCDM, users can expect the same excellent display performance, with a maximum brightness of 450 nits and a contrast ratio of 1.5M:1, as well as an ultra-fast 0.03ms response time.
With the addition of cutting-edge connectivity and AI-driven features, the PG32UCDMR is set to compete with the latest high-end gaming monitors. ASUS has yet to confirm the exact price, but based on the previous model’s $1299 price tag, the new version is likely to be similarly priced.
