Bandai Namco Summer Showcase 2025 Reveals My Hero Academia Game, Code Vein II, and More

Bandai Namco is ready to heat up the summer with its highly anticipated Summer Showcase, set to air on July 2, 2025, at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM BT.

This digital event will spotlight twelve upcoming titles, headlined by the premiere of a brand-new My Hero Academia game.

Although some of the featured games have already had recent updates-like Little Nightmares III and the dark fantasy RPG The Blood of the Dawnwalker-the full lineup teases deeper gameplay reveals and fresh trailers. Fans will finally get more insight into Code Vein II, the sequel to the cult vampire action RPG, as well as the eerie and long-awaited Death Note: Killer Within.

One of the most intriguing entries is The Blood of the Dawnwalker, developed by Rebel Wolves, a studio formed by CD Projekt RED veterans. With a pedigree that includes The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, expectations are sky-high. Rumors are already circulating that Rebel Wolves could eclipse CDPR itself if this game lands the way fans hope.

Fighting game fans should also tune in for updates on Tekken 8. Although the core gameplay has been praised, fans have criticized the post-launch monetization and lackluster live service features. Perhaps this showcase will mark a course correction-or at least offer a glimpse of what’s to come next.

Other confirmed titles include Digimon Story Time Stranger, Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots, Super Robot Wars Y, Shadow Labyrinth, and the nostalgic double pack Patapon 1+2 Replay. Most games are targeting summer and early fall release windows, with Patapon and Shadow Labyrinth expected in July, while Digimon and Little Nightmares III aim for September and October launches.

Here’s the complete list of games to expect at the showcase:

  • Code Vein II
  • Death Note: Killer Within
  • Digimon Story Time Stranger
  • Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots
  • Little Nightmares III
  • My Hero Academia (new title)
  • Patapon 1+2 Replay
  • Shadow Labyrinth
  • Super Robot Wars Y
  • Tekken 8
  • The Blood of the Dawnwalker
  • Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree

Whether you’re here for gothic action, anime brawlers, or retro revivals, Bandai Namco’s showcase looks stacked. Let’s hope the gameplay previews deliver on the hype and bring some clarity to these upcoming titles before their release dates hit.
