Battlefield 6 Campaign Leak Reveals Explosive Dam Mission and More

A new video clip from the upcoming Battlefield game has surfaced online, thanks to the latest Battlefield Labs update. A dataminer known as Temporyal uncovered the single-player campaign footage and shared it on X. The clip, which is still a work in progress, shows a dramatic scene from a mission where players are tasked with destroying a dam in Tajikistan. Temporyal notes that this footage isn’t gameplay from a playtest or the Battlefield Labs test, unlike previous leaks.

Instead, it’s a raw video file, which is why there are no watermarks usually associated with closed playtests.

According to Temporyal’s findings, the campaign will feature eight missions, with a prologue bringing the total to nine. The game will take players through locations such as Tajikistan, Egypt, the USA, and Gibraltar. However, there’s still no official release date or title for the next Battlefield game, though EA promises a summer reveal sometime between now and September. While these leaks offer some insight into the game’s content, much remains under wraps.

EA is facing a challenging period with several recent setbacks. The cancellation of its Black Panther game, layoffs across various studios, and the underwhelming performance of Dragon Age: The Veilguard have all contributed to a rough patch for the company. With EA needing a major success, the next Battlefield title is seen as a potential turning point. When the official reveal happens, the reactions from players will play a crucial role in determining the future of the company and its next steps in the gaming world.
