Battlefield 6 Launches October 10: New Editions and Pricing Details Revealed

Battlefield 6 is officially slated to launch on October 10, according to a reliable source from Dealabs, with the game’s availability confirmed across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The highly anticipated installment in the long-running franchise will offer two editions: the Standard Edition and the Phantom Edition. While the Phantom Edition isn’t a traditional collector’s edition, it will be a digital Deluxe version that includes additional content (although specifics are still unknown). Unlike recent major releases, this edition will not feature early access.

For those who opt for the Standard Edition, which will be priced at €69.99 on PC, there is an opportunity to upgrade to the Phantom Edition through the purchase of a Phantom Pack.

However, for console players in Europe, the pricing is noticeably higher. The Standard Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will be priced at €79.99, and the Phantom Edition will cost €109.99 on consoles, whereas it will be priced at €99.99 on PC.

While the game’s official release date is confirmed for October 10, it’s possible that tomorrow’s new trailer could offer more details, including additional clarifications regarding the edition specifics and other features. Fans are eagerly anticipating the game, though it’s worth noting that the Battlefield series has been known for releasing unfinished titles that are often patched and updated over time. Still, players are looking forward to the next chapter in the franchise, despite the mixed reactions to early footage and rumors surrounding development delays.
