This eerie figure strikes fear and confusion in players, even those who have faced him before.

If you’re just starting out in Elden Ring Nightreign, you might be scratching your head over the Bell Bearing Hunter’s frightening reputation. You can fight a boss version of him fairly early on, after battling the Nightlord Tricephalos. Players familiar with the original Elden Ring might think they have him figured out-he’s a returning foe, after all. But there’s a twist in Nightreign.

In Elden Ring Nightreign, bosses don’t just spawn at the end of the night. They can appear out in the open world, and when they do, they’re even more powerful than before. The Bell Bearing Hunter, in his new form, packs a serious punch. Many players who’ve put in hundreds of hours into Nightreign have mentioned the Bell Bearing Hunter, and he often pops up when discussing difficult or memorable boss encounters. What’s interesting is that he seems particularly menacing when fighting in a castle, where his powers seem amplified. One player even joked that he must have had a good night’s rest!

The Bell Bearing Hunter’s moveset also adds to his threat level. His sword, which he can swing up close or launch telekinetically from a distance, makes him a dangerous adversary. Add in the fact that he can appear in various locations and the fight becomes a whole new challenge.

However, there’s a glimmer of hope for players who are struggling. One Reddit user discovered a clever strategy that could help players take the Bell Bearing Hunter down. By walking directly at him and guarding, the player was able to put the Bell Bearing Hunter into a permanent walk cycle. This gives you an opportunity to attack him without him being able to retaliate as effectively. It’s a tactic that, while unconventional, might just be the key to bringing down this terrifying foe.

There are plenty of other Nightreign strategies available to help you defeat all of the eight Nightlord bosses. I still remember the first week of release… it was like a joke to go after him. Now, people see the Bell Bearing Hunter and just skip him. 😂 They’ll die to death birds without hesitation tho
