NVIDIA has made a major announcement that the entire Borderlands franchise, excluding Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, is now available for streaming on GeForce NOW. This comes after 2K Games, the publisher behind the series, had previously pulled its titles from the service in 2020, just after its official release. It seems that the tides have turned as more 2K franchises, including Mafia, have rejoined the cloud gaming platform recently. Now, Gearbox’s action-packed Borderlands games are back for fans to enjoy on GeForce NOW, marking an exciting return.
In addition to the current Borderlands titles such as Borderlands 3 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, fans are in for an extra treat as the much-anticipated Borderlands 4 will be available for streaming on its launch day.
The game promises a new chapter in the looter-shooter franchise, and although its system requirements are not particularly demanding, having it available for cloud gaming is a huge benefit for players without high-end hardware.
Meanwhile, other notable 2K franchises like Sid Meier’s Civilization are already available on GeForce NOW. However, titles like BioShock, X-COM, and even the sports franchises (NBA, WWE, PGA Tour, etc.) remain absent from the platform. Will they join the ranks soon? Only time will tell. As for this week, here’s a rundown of all the new releases coming to GeForce NOW:
