Call of Duty: WWII and Warcraft Classics Headline Xbox Game Pass June 2025 Lineup
Microsoft is pulling out all the stops for the second wave of Xbox Game Pass titles in June 2025, delivering a mix of beloved classics and fresh new releases across genres. With something for nearly every type of gamer, the lineup spans FPS, strategy, platformers, roguelikes, and more.
Leading the charge is Call of Duty: WWII, landing on Game Pass on June 30 for Console and PC. This 2017 Sledgehammer title brings players back to the gritty, boots-on-the-ground battles of World War II. While not everyone considers it the pinnacle of the franchise, it’s a nostalgic return to a fan-favorite era, complete with the quirky loot-drop feature at the Normandy beach Headquarters.
But that’s not the only heavy hitter. Blizzard’s Warcraft RTS trilogy arrives on June 26 exclusively for PC Game Pass users: Warcraft I: Remastered, Warcraft II: Remastered, and Warcraft III: Reforged. It’s a goldmine for longtime RTS fans and a major draw for PC players who’ve been missing classic real-time strategy content in the subscription mix.
Already available is FBC: Firebreak, a new co-op FPS set in Remedy’s Control universe, offering a trippy and chaotic experience on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. It’s a day-one launch that adds a supernatural flair to the June lineup.
Also out now are Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time (Console and PC) and Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, an indie gem blending storybook visuals with tactical combat.
June 18 introduces two wildly different titles: the futuristic trucking sim Star Trucker (Xbox Series X|S), and chilly deckbuilder Wildfrost (Console). While Star Trucker isn’t on PC Game Pass (yet), fans seem ready to give it a shot on console first.
On June 19, arcade soccer brawler Rematch hits the service with a catch: no crossplay between PC Game Pass and Steam at launch. Despite that, excitement is still running high following its chaotic beta phase.
By June 24, Volcano Princess (Cloud, Console, PC) joins the catalog, a heartfelt sim-RPG that’s been quietly gaining love among indie fans. Then, on June 26, survival city-builder Against the Storm expands its reach to Cloud and Console via Game Pass Ultimate.
Looking ahead to early July, Little Nightmares II and Rise of the Tomb Raider return to the Game Pass library on July 1, offering a perfect mix of psychological thrills and action-adventure.
Of course, with new games come goodbyes-titles like My Friend Peppa Pig are set to leave the platform this month, prompting some family gamers to scramble for purchase deals (thankfully, Game Pass offers up to 20% off).
Overall, June’s lineup is a rollercoaster of old favorites and intriguing newcomers. While some fans still long for Xbox’s golden years, others are finding plenty of reasons to stay subscribed.
