Caviar has once again redefined luxury smartphones with their latest offering: the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 Cabubu Editions. This time, they’ve drawn inspiration from Labubu, a brand of collectible plush toy monster elves designed by Kasing Lung, a Hong Kong-Belgian artist.
While these figures are known as Labubu in the toy world, Caviar’s version is rebranded as Cabubu, giving the plushies a touch of high-end allure.
The Cabubu Editions take the already premium Samsung devices and elevate them with 24k gold accents and jewelry-grade enamel. The Galaxy Z Fold7 Cabubu Edition is decorated with a Cabubu design set against a Martian landscape, creating a surreal, otherworldly vibe. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip7 Cabubu Edition features the same character, but in a Venus-inspired setting, adding a unique space-age feel to the design.
These luxury devices come with hefty price tags: the Galaxy Z Flip7 Cabubu Edition starts at $8,910, while the Galaxy Z Fold7 Cabubu Edition begins at $10,340. Caviar has decided to produce only eight units of each model, citing the number 8 as a symbol of good fortune in Chinese culture.
