Citizen UNITE with BLUE ‘Sea of Silence’: Stunning Eco-Drive Watches for 2025

Citizen’s UNITE with BLUE “Sea of Silence” Collection: Where Ocean-Inspired Art Meets Technology

Citizen continues its environmental initiative and watchmaking innovation with the 2025 release of the UNITE with BLUE “Sea of Silence” collection. This series pays tribute to the world’s oceans through six stunning limited-edition models, each featuring the brand’s pioneering structural ink technology — a pigment-free design that uses microstructures to reflect light and create mesmerizing hues of blue, reminiscent of the ocean’s depths.

Citizen first debuted this approach in 2023 for World Oceans Day.

This year, they take it further — adding depth, sophistication, and variety across men’s and women’s watches, all powered by the brand’s Eco-Drive technology that uses any light to stay charged.

Top of the Line: Attesa Satellite Wave GPS CC4075-50L

The flagship of the series, this 44.6mm Super Titanium beast is packed with features: GPS satellite timekeeping, a chronograph, perpetual calendar, and five-year power reserve. It’s a serious tech-forward piece with a high-end finish and costs $1,995 — limited to 2,400 units.

Elegant Function: Attesa Radio-Controlled CB0288-65L

Smaller and sleeker at 40.6mm, this one is a great alternative for those who prefer simplicity. With a classic three-hand design and radio-controlled accuracy, this $1,195 piece (2,000 units worldwide) offers refined style without compromising tech.

Dive Deep: Promaster Dive E365 BN1025-08L

The most rugged in the bunch, this 300-meter diver boasts a 46mm steel case, rubber strap, and dramatic styling. The Eco-Drive E365 movement lasts a full year per charge

. At $750 for 4,500 pieces, it’s hard to beat for a solar-powered tool watch with such personality — although opinions vary on its color matching.

Affordable Versatility: PCAT Radio-Controlled CB5874-81L

Built for performance and everyday wear, this 43mm stainless steel model includes world time, radio sync, and a perpetual calendar.

It’s yours for $650 and produced in the largest quantity: 5,500 units. A perfect entry point into the collection.

Stylish Elegance for Her: xC ES9490-95L

At just 27mm, this titanium women’s watch includes four diamonds, Roman numerals, and Eco-Drive H060 with radio-control and world time. It’s dainty but tech-savvy, priced at $1,095 and limited to 1,200 units.

Chic and Affordable: L Mae EM1060-87L

With more diamonds than its pricier sibling and a unique blue sapphire crown, this 29.5mm steel watch has high visual appeal for just $625. It runs for six months per charge and is limited to 2,000 units.

Ocean-Inspired, Emotion-Evoking

The real showstopper is the dial. Photos don’t do justice — you need to see them play with light in real life. While the original UNITE with BLUE collection was vibrant, this year’s release is more subtle and wearable across occasions. Some fans argue about shade matching (especially on the Promaster), but most agree: Citizen nailed both tech and soul here.

With their unbeatable value, Eco-Drive sustainability, and fresh design, these watches prove Citizen’s ongoing dominance in affordable innovation — and a genuine care for our planet’s future.

300m solar diver with this design for $750? Try finding that combo elsewhere. Only Citizen does it like this

Was eyeing the L-Mae for a gift - looks way more expensive than it is. Blue crown detail is slick 👑

Still think the older LE Unite had better harmony between bezel and dial, but this one ain't bad either

Love the Ecozilla variant but some of the other models? Meh. Still, you can’t deny the value Citizen packs in
