You step into the boots of Morgan Vanette, a member of the rebellious Rotten Row Hooligans, tasked with rewriting history itself to stop the iron-fisted Lady Ironwood from bending the timeline to her control. The choices you make as Morgan don’t just influence the present-they reshape the entire timeline, offering a branching narrative with real consequences.
While the absence of a release date sparked speculation-especially with other games at the showcase happily flaunting their 2025 windows-there’s still a glimmer of hope for a 2025 launch. That said, some fans suspect a 2026 or even 2027 delay is on the cards, especially considering the game’s scale and ambition. The hype, however, remains real. Despite some criticism over graphics that some feel resemble the previous generation, the unique aesthetic, time-altering gameplay, and BioShock vibes have struck a chord with many.
One thing is clear: when Clockwork Revolution finally does arrive, it’s likely to be a contender for Game of the Year-whichever year that ends up being.
