CMF Watch Pro 3 Leak: €99 Price Tag and Rising Expectations

Nothing’s budget-focused sub-brand, CMF, is reportedly prepping to launch a new smartwatch – the CMF Watch Pro 3.

According to recent leaks, the wearable is expected to be priced at €99 in the Eurozone, and available in a sleek Dark Gray variant.

Compared to last year’s CMF Watch Pro 2, which debuted at €69, this marks a notable €30 price hike – a 44% jump. While that’s not massive in absolute terms, it does raise expectations for meaningful upgrades in both hardware and software.

However, CMF’s approach has sparked confusion among fans and followers. Many are scratching their heads at the naming strategy. While there’s a CMF Phone 2 Pro on the market, there’s still no base model of the phone or even a CMF Watch 2. Jumping directly to the Watch Pro 3 only adds to the inconsistency.

The Watch Pro 2 had some limitations, including no support for quick replies on messaging apps like WhatsApp – a sore spot for users who expect more from even budget smartwatches these days. Hopes are now pinned on the Watch Pro 3 to finally include such basic yet essential features.

Despite the lack of an official release date, industry insiders suggest the launch is “coming soon.” If CMF plans to justify the higher price tag, they’ll need to bring more than just a new coat of paint – improved notification handling, better battery life, and a more refined UI might just do the trick.

As fans wait, the spotlight is firmly on Nothing’s next move, and whether the Watch Pro 3 can finally deliver the balance of price and performance the lineup has been striving for.
