Colorful has unveiled the new iGame Shadow II DDR5 memory series, designed specifically to boost the performance of AMD’s latest Ryzen 9000 processors.
This refreshed lineup follows the success of the original iGame Shadow kits and now offers larger capacities and a redesigned aesthetic.
Engineered for the AM5 platform, the Shadow II series supports both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles, making it versatile across modern builds. Its standout variant delivers DDR5-6400 speeds with an impressively low CL28 latency, enabling top-tier gaming and multitasking performance out of the box.
Colorful took design inspiration from classical East Asian ink-wash art, incorporating this into the heatsink design alongside RGB lighting to elevate the visual appeal inside PC cases. The modules are not just powerful-they’re visually striking too, with a unique shadow motif printed on the sides and dynamic RGB glow on top.
The available capacities will range from 32 GB up to 96 GB, with various latency and frequency combinations. Currently, only the 2×24 GB (48 GB) CL28 kit is being released, but more configurations are planned for later. Overclocking enthusiasts can also squeeze more performance out of these kits manually.
Exact pricing and release dates are still under wraps, but these new Shadow II modules are already shaping up to be a perfect pairing for anyone looking to build or upgrade a Ryzen 9000 system.
