Get ready for an interactive twist at San Diego Comic-Con 2025-Comixology and Kindle are joining forces to bring fans a one-of-a-kind scavenger hunt experience. Officially titled the Comixology x Kindle Colorsoft Scavenger Hunt, the event will lead attendees across the convention floor, scanning hidden QR codes at participating publisher booths.
These secret codes unlock free digital comics, exclusive discounts, and even a shot at winning the all-new Kindle Colorsoft e-reader.
“We’re beyond excited to partner with Kindle for our first live scavenger hunt,” said Jeff DiBartolomeo, GM and CTO of Comixology. “It’s all about celebrating the magic of comics-from timeless classics to today’s freshest titles-available through over 150 publishers on both Comixology and Kindle.”
The fun doesn’t stop there. At booth #1935, Comixology will feature a massive gumball machine filled with enamel pins, bonus prizes, and extra entries to win Kindle Colorsofts. Visitors can also explore Kindle demo zones, meet top comic creators, and watch live sketching sessions with artists like Michael Avon Oeming and Tula Lotay.
Comixology will also host a strong lineup of panels throughout the weekend. With names like Thomas Jane, Taki Soma, Marc Bernardin, Paul Cornell, Scott Snyder, and Tula Lotay on board, these sessions promise insights into storytelling, industry trends, and fan-favorite titles.
