Dell has launched its new “Dell Premium” series laptops, featuring the latest Core Ultra processors and the powerful GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs.
These flagship models, including the Dell 14 Premium and Dell 16 Premium, bring significant upgrades to Dell’s lineup, maintaining the iconic XPS design while enhancing performance and portability.
The Dell 14 Premium and Dell 16 Premium offer different configurations, with screen sizes of 14.5 inches and 16.3 inches, respectively, slightly increasing the previous models’ displays while keeping the same compact dimensions. The laptops also come with Dell’s signature InfinityEdge display, delivering a more immersive experience without compromising portability.
The Dell 14 Premium offers three configurations with the Core Ultra 7 255H processor, a 16-core powerhouse designed for handling heavy tasks, and graphics options ranging from Intel’s Arc iGPU to the GeForce RTX 4050. It offers memory configurations of 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X and storage options of 512GB or 1TB SSD. The display offers a crisp 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, while the laptop remains lightweight at just 1.63-1.72 kg. A 69.5 Whr battery promises up to 20 hours of battery life, making it an excellent choice for those on the go.
The Dell 16 Premium, aimed at enthusiasts, brings even more power with up to 27 hours of battery life
. It is powered by the Core Ultra 7 255H or the more potent Core Ultra 9 285H, paired with a GeForce RTX 5060 or other future graphics options, including Intel Arc and GeForce RTX 5050/5070. With a 16.3-inch 2K or 4K OLED display, the Dell 16 Premium starts at $2,699, with configurations featuring more powerful GPUs like the RTX 5070 expected to cost between $2,700 and $3,000.
The Dell 14 Premium starts at $1,649, while higher-end models with OLED displays or upgraded GPUs are priced up to $2,449. The Dell 16 Premium’s pricing begins at $2,699, reaching $3,049 for the top-tier configuration.
