A highly anticipated film adaptation of the classic British comic *Rogue Trooper* is in the works, and fans have been treated to a sneak peek of the upcoming movie. The movie will feature stars Jemaine Clement and Matt Berry, known for their roles in *What We Do in the Shadows*, who will portray Mr. Brass and Mr. Bland, two mischievous battleground looters who add a dose of comedy to the war-torn world of *Rogue Trooper*.
The first batch of images from the film offers a thrilling glimpse into the world of Nu Earth, a brutal planet caught in a relentless war between two factions: the Norts and the Southers. The images showcase an epic war vehicle trekking across the harsh landscape, and a haunting shot of two Souther soldiers stranded on the battlefield. Fans will also get to see the facial capture technology used to bring the characters to life, adding a unique realism to the animated film. *Dunkirk* star Aneurin Barnard takes center stage as 19, the titular ‘Genetic Infantryman,’ while the ever-talented Clement and Berry bring their comedic flair to the roles of Mr. Brass and Mr. Bland.
Jones, who also serves as the producer, has teased the film’s progress, saying, “AHHHHHHHHHHHH! WE’RE ALMOST FINISHED!
