Elden Ring Nightreign Duplication Glitch: Share the Loot with Ease

Elden Ring Nightreign offers some epic loot, and occasionally, you might want to let others experience the gear you’ve acquired, even though you want to keep it for yourself.

Luckily, there’s a duplication glitch that makes it possible to share the wealth – for as long as it lasts.

This trick was first spotted by PC Gamer, who shared a simple guide on how to perform the duplication. The process is pretty straightforward: if two players grab the same weapon simultaneously, both players get the item. So, you’ll end up with one original item and one duplicate. Don’t worry about distinguishing which is which – it’s bound to confuse you.

The great thing about this glitch is that it’s easy to repeat. Even if you mess it up, just give it another shot. The only real downside is that you’ll need to stand still while you execute the drop-and-pick-up method. In Nightreign, standing still is usually not the safest option. The best times to try it are between boss fights or in safe areas, like the alabaster alcove.

As PC Gamer pointed out, this isn’t a new discovery. Several YouTubers and Reddit users have already caught on to this easy duplication method. It’s no longer a secret exploit.

Will FromSoftware fix it? That’s hard to say. The glitch has a fairly niche use case. Without voice chat, it’s hard to coordinate with random players, so you can’t just drop your best gear and hope others are in sync. Even with Discord or other communication tools, you’ll need to make sure your teammates actually want the gear you’re dropping. While Elden Ring Nightreign is generous with gear drops, each character has their own preferences, so this glitch is more useful for doubling up on specific weapons. It’s not a game-breaking trick, but it can be fun and handy if you want to share some loot with others or make sure everyone’s got what they need before a big battle.
