Frederique Constant has just unveiled a stunning trio of limited-edition watches for 2025, continuing its partnership with the iconic Austin-Healey brand.
The new Classic Vintage Rally Healey collection celebrates the legendary small racing car, and this year’s models bring a fresh yet timeless aesthetic to the wrist.
At the core of this release is the Frederique Constant Vintage Rally Healey Automatic. This is the non-limited edition of the lineup, but it still packs quite a punch. The watch maintains the signature British racing green dial, paying homage to the spirit of vintage racing. The 40mm stainless steel case is topped with a domed sapphire crystal, and the caseback features an engraving of the Austin-Healey 100S. The movement has been downgraded from the previous year’s chronometer-certified model to the La Joux Perret G100, a more affordable option with an impressive 68-hour power reserve
. Despite this shift, the G100 is still a reliable movement that suits everyday wear.
For those seeking exclusivity, the two limited-edition models are an exciting proposition. Each is limited to just 1,888 pieces.
The 36mm Classics Vintage Rally Healey is especially geared towards those who prefer smaller, more refined watches, and it even features the same signature “Healey blue” sunburst dial that mirrors the Austin-Healey 3000 MKII BM7. The 42mm Classics Vintage Rally Healey Chronograph is a slightly larger, sportier option
. Its chronograph layout adds a functional and racing-inspired twist to the design, complete with red racing hands to evoke the passion of motorsports.
Both limited editions share a strong design language, with their polished stainless steel cases and lumed markers, which are reminiscent of the classic gauges in the Austin-Healey. The 36mm version is available on a blue calf leather strap, while the 42mm chronograph is mounted on a similar strap but with a more robust, masculine feel. The latter also boasts an automatic chronograph movement, the FC-397, which provides a 62-hour power reserve and accurate timekeeping.
In keeping with its automotive roots, each watch is presented in a beautiful gift box that includes a miniature replica of the Austin-Healey 100S, number NOJ933. This addition further elevates the overall presentation and makes the watch feel like more than just a timepiece, but a piece of automotive history. With prices starting at $1,895 USD for the non-limited version and going up to $3,295 USD for the chronograph, these watches are well worth the investment for any racing fan or Austin-Healey enthusiast.
